Parking restrictions at Capilano University during the 2010 Games

Capilano University’s North Vancouver campus is being used as a departure hub for Cypress Mountain Olympic Games events. Please review the parking information found on our 2010 Winter Games website so that you can make decisions on how to get to the campus and where you might be able to park. Walking, cycling, carpooling and transit are recommended instead of driving. When you arrive, you will be met by a parking attendant who will provide you with directions.

There will be approximately 200 spaces reserved for employees and people using services at the University during the extended reading break. An “Immediate Tow Without Warning” for non-payment of parking will be in effect during the Olympic Games period in an effort to keep these spaces reserved for the University. Capilano University employees and students do not need to produce ID to enter the campus. However, Olympic Games venue attendees must show their admission tickets to enter the park and ride areas. These visitors must park where directed.
