Composition student, Kenny Ngo, was accepted to the Sonic Boom student masterclass to have his clarinet and piano piece read March 27 by two professional players and critiqued by R. Murray Schafer. Kenny also received a recording of the class for future contemplation. He is pictured here with Music Diploma Composition instructor, Mark Armanini. Held every spring, the Sonic Boom Festival is a four-day celebration of music by British Columbia composers.
