Capilano University IDEA students collect awards nationwide

IDEA 2011 grad Deanna Kristindottir (fifth from left in photo above) is seen at the British Columbia and Yukon Community Newspaper Association luncheon, where she was presented with a $500 scholarship.

Applied Arts magazine turned the spotlight onto three Capilano University IDEA grads in their June issue. The students’ work can be seen here.

Two Cap IDEA students were recognized by the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada. Samantha Smith was presented with a $2,000 Adobe Scholarship, and Markus Wreland won an Honourable Mention. See their work here.

2011 Salazar award winner, Miguel Molina, will soon be featured on the Salazar website. Miguel won the Brand Identity category and received a $500 scholarship.
